Hand dyed rose pink silk gauze. Hand felted with a combination of pink, slate and charcoal. The silk in this piece is sheer. It has a matte finish, which makes it more casual, then dressy.  It is lightweight and warm as a shawl when worn open. It is also useful as a large scarf when wrapped around the neck. It is a great transitional weight to be used in most seasons. 

This piece measures approximately 25”wide and 76”long.

Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length.

This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be hand-washed cold or washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Hang dry. It can be dry-cleaned. It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! Wear often and in health!
