Hand-dyed bright blue silk gauze. Hand-felted with a combination of bright blue, slate and a touch of lime and aqua colored wool. This piece is light weight and partially sheer. It can be used for "full" coverage across the back of the body when draped open as a classic shawl. It can also be gathered and draped as a scarf in the opening of a coat. Great for most occasions and anytime of the year!

This piece measures approximately 30”wide and 70”long.

Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length.

This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be hand-washed cold or washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Hang dry. It can be dry-cleaned. It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! Wear often and in health!
