Hand dyed evergreen iridescent silk. Hand felted with merino wool in a combination of black and varying shades of olive. This shawl is wide, lightweight and warm. It is wider across the back than the same style, made without the “lux” name.  It can be worn as a classic shawl in a myriad of ways, or worn over or in place of a coat . It can also keep you warm during meditations, cozying up on your couch, or around a fire. This piece can also be used in the home as a decorative textile.  Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length. This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Or it can be dry-cleaned. Hang dry. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer.
