Hand dyed iridescent wine silk. Hand felted with a combination of chocolate, black, and carbon gray colored wool . The iridescent silk in this piece makes it a bit dressy and more vibrant than the sheer version. It can be used for "full" coverage across the back of the body when draped open as a classic shawl. It can also be gathered and draped as a scarf in the opening of a coat. Great for most occasions and anytime of the year!

This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be hand washed in cold. It can be washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. It can also be dry-cleaned. Hang dry. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer. Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length.
