Black silk hand felted with a combination of all white fine wool on one side versus all black wool on the other.  There is a flounce draping freely at opposite ends of the shawl, that is finished with a hand rolled hem. This original classic style is forever. This piece looks great with black and steely gray. It can be dressy worn on a black dress, or used a beautiful scarf or shawl worn in place of a sweater layer worn casually with denim.    

This piece measures approximately 22”wide and 76”long.

Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length.

This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be hand-washed cold or washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Hang dry. It can be dry-cleaned. It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! Wear often and in health!
